Allman Family Revival – The Factory
With a year away from concerts and the season for shows coming to an end, the Allman Family Revival celebrates the life and spirit of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s, Gregg Allman.
Starting in 2017, Devon Allman has been inviting his closest musical friends on stage for one night to bring you an opportunity to experience a show that you will never forget. From years past Allman has been welcoming musicians from Roy Orbison’s son, Alex Orbison, to Cheap Trick’s very own Robin Zander. In 2020, the global pandemic forced the show to move to 2021 with a socially distanced performance at Nashville’s own Ryman Auditorium. Continuing the show in 2021 throughout the United States, the show will include Robert Randolph, Jimmy Hall (Wet Willie), Eric Gales, Lilly Hiatt, and many others. Now each performance might not be like the night before as each show will feature different musical guests such as Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Jessica Lynn, or J.D. Simo. These are only a few as several others can show up to the show for one jamming experience.
Forming in 2018, The Allman Betts Band includes the sons of three founding members of The Allman Brothers including Devon Allman (Gregg Allman), Duane Betts (Dickey Betts), and Berry Duane (Berry Oakley). The band brings a new generation of The Allman Brothers Band to the stage as they perform originals from their newest album ‘Bless Your Heart’ along with some covers from the Allman Brothers Band. With two studio albums, The Allman Betts Band brings back the old southern rock, jam band sounds that everyone has been waiting for.
As the Allman Family Revival continues to play to thousands of fans until the end of 2021, there is no better way to end the tour on December 31 than the birthplace and home to The Allman Brother’s Band in Macon, Georgia.
For one night only the Allman Family Revival will play at The Factory in St. Louis, Missouri The Allman Betts Band, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Robert Randolph, Donavon Frankenreiter, Eric Gales, Lilly Hiatt, Cody Dickinson, Luther Dickinson, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Jimmy Hall (Wet Willie), Lamar Williams Jr. – Art Edmaiston – River Kittens.
